    There is no cure for cellulite. Any reputable doctor will explain this to you as well as your options for treatment. Some treatments for cellulite work on some people, and sometimes the same treatments are ineffective. The results can be highly variable. As a result you should choose your physician wisely and consult with them on how to best address your concerns.

    Shop Smart, Not Cheap

    Cosmetic medicine is not something you go bargain-shopping for. You ‘pay for what you get’ in this field. A highly-trained and experienced physician is invaluable when you are considering one of these procedures. Be wary of anyone who pressures you into a particular treatment. Ask questions during your consultation. ‘Why are you recommending this procedure over others?’, ‘Do you offer other treatments for my condition?’, and ‘What can I expect for results?’ are all good questions to ask.

    Cheap Treatments are Never Cheap

    I personally have treated patients who have had complications from other procedures who went out bargain-hunting only to see significant side-effects. Sometimes we can fix the problems and sometimes we can’t. Be selective in who you go to. Go to an expert in skin care who has multiple modalities with which to treat you.
